Flax Sweater Modifications

This pattern is a modification to a wildly popular and free pattern from Tin Can Knits (see link on pattern page).

Cast on and learn all the techniques you need to make your first sweater! Flax, by Tin Can Knits, is a very simple seamless pullover knit from the top down. It's unisex; perfect for men, women, boys and girls.

We have two modifications. The first is a simple garter panel in the front and the second is an added cable to a front panel and arms.

The pattern was inspired by Sequence Knitting by Cecelia Campochiaro and is simply a K5, P5 knitting sequence of stripes intertwined with two colors. The pattern creates an energetic frenzy of color in an expanded rib. The FO is amazingly light and can be worn all day around a drafty (or air-conditioned) office or just around the house.

Old Shale Ripple Scarf Kit

What if we told you that you really only needed to count stitches on very fourth row of a pattern? Easy-peasy, right? This is another simple pattern by The Perfect Purl, that has a four row repeat and most of those rows are just knits or purls. Driftwood Interchangeable Circular Set and Case by Lykke

This interchangeable knitting needle set includes 12 pairs of needles crafted from birchwood in sizes US 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10.5, 11, 13, 15 and 17.
